Flawed: A grumpy sunshine age gap romance (In Disgrace Book 1)

E-Book Review- Flawed in Disgrace  by Shilpa Suraj

Flawed by shipla suraj ebook review

‘Flawed’ is a believable story of a young wannabe Bollywood and reality TV actress Vaani Jaishankar and Aditya Khamankar, a professional chartered accountant who loves his job and routine-driven life.

The true match of Flawed versus perfection, an opposite attracts premise taken rather seriously. Both characters have their own flaws and perfections in their personal and professional life. They both have everything which the other doesn’t have and they complement each other so perfectly.

23-year-old, Vaani is a mess, a hot pink mess, and everything Aditya isn’t. She is young, bold, sexy, and fearless in personality and the life choices she made for herself. She has made some nasty career and personal choices in life and she has her reasons for it. well-developed and believable character that everyone is bound to love. She ran from her house and lives independently in Mumbai.

Aditya, on the other hand, leads a completely opposite life. He is 34 and is boring in terms of his clothes and personal life but is well. He has his own flaws with certain family dynamics with his parents and some circumstances with his brother, for whom he is solely responsible. He is a hard-working charted accountant, who works and lives in Hyderabad.

This twisted modern love tale touches on their flawed emotions, relationships, and career choices. Flawed (Disgrace Book 1) by Shilpa Suraj beautifully explores the journey of the leading pair, finding their true selves, their strength, and weakness, and accepting their love for each other. In normal circumstances, it might not be possible for these two individuals to meet or fall for each other, but as destiny intervenes, these two meet and do fall in love with each other.

All About the Book: Flawed by Shilpa Suraj

Why would anyone want perfection when they could have Vaani Jaishankar instead?

Flawed (in Disgrace Book 1) by Shilpa Suraj

Aditya Khamankar, a chartered accountant built his life on a bedrock of numbers. No matter what happened, numbers and math never let you down. They stayed the same. And that fundamental fact defined many of his choices. He was an obedient son, a diligent student, an overachieving employee, and a reliable friend. All he wanted in his life, was routine and sensible discourse. All he craved was peace and quiet. And then his senior partner’s daughter came home. And life as he knew it was never the same again.

Reality TV villain and tabloid fodder, Vaani Jaishankar lived for the arclights. The glamour, and the larger-than-life that came with it held her in thrall. Until the industry she loved and the people, she trusted and abandoned her. And now, she was back home. Darkening the doorstep of her childhood home, something she’d sworn she’d never do, and working in her father’s accountancy firm. Could God just take her now already? And then there was her father’s business partner.

  • What happens when Perfection meets Flawed?

  • Do the cracks beneath his façade show?

  • Or is it as well hidden as the foundation of grit and ambition her shiny polish conceals?

When attraction wars with common sense and love burn a fiery rope that ties them together, Aditya and Vaani need to decide if this is enough. If they enough for each other? For the world doesn’t believe they are and the world isn’t done with them yet.

To be honest I am not a big fan of Bollywood. Yet, the plot of the book seems very gripping. Given that it is not too long.. I would try to lay my hand on it.
