Review : Seba Med Baby Wash & Children’s Shampoo
Initially, I had used skin care products that I had heard of from family and friends or from television commercials. One being baby soap and body wash. I couldn’t believe it, hen my few days old son came out with small red spots and rash all over his chest and hands. From then on, I became very cautious about any skincare products that I would apply to him. I try to read all the possible details on the brand’s product/website, product ratings, reviews and feedbacks.
I have tried Seba Med products in the past, So when I got a chance to try their baby care range I was a little assured of the brand at least. For last one week, we are using these products and have almost finished these samples.
Interested to know more, keep reading to know about the products and my experience.

Seba Med Baby Wash Extra Soft
The Brand Claims-
The very mild wash-active compound offers high skin tolerance for the extra gentle daily cleansing of a newborn’s delicate skin

- Extremely mild cleansing agent
- provides the lipid support baby’s skin needs
- makes the skin soft and smooth
- High skin tolerability
- No tears formula
My Experience:
- The baby wash was medium consistency neither too runny nor too thick. The product lathered up nicely when a good amount was applied. The reason may be because of the oil massage that was given to the baby prior to the bath.
- It was definitely a no tears formula.
- The baby wash is very mildly fragrant, but then that’s not what you expect from a medicated product.
Seba Med Children’s Shampoo
The Brand Claims-
Ideal for cleansing and care the fine hair and delicate scalp of babies and children, minimizing the risk of dryness or irritation
- 100% soap and alkali-free
- mild wash active substances for gentle cleansing
- Herbal extract of Camomile alleviates irritation and soothes the skin
- Special “no tears” formula does not sting in the eyes
- Promotes a healthy scalp for the growth of healthy hair
- Excellent skin tolerance
- Makes the hair easy to comb
- Leaves hair fragrant and silky
My Experience:
- The children’s Shampoo was in good consistency and lathered up beautifully on my Son’s scalp
- It went into his eyes while washing and no irritation or discomfort, surely a no tears formulae.
- It was very again very mildly fragrant.
Seba med Diaper Rash Cream
The Brand Claims-
With the pH value of 5.5 Baby sebamed is clinically proven to promote the development of the acid mantle. Free from nitro-musk compounds, formaldehyde, nitrosamines, dioxane
- Provides relief from and reliable protection against diaper rash
- forms a barrier against inflammation causing substances
- pH 5.5 normalizes the skin pH if it is elevated by occlusion and urine contact
- protect from superinfection of the dermatitic skin
- Water-in-oil formulation
My Experience:
We didn’t get to use the diaper rash cream as we are completely on Cloth Diapers. But I took a look and it was smooth and had nice consistency which would be easier to apply and absorbed by the skin,

The products can be easily bought online at Seba med or other leading online shopping platforms and at pharmacies.
Pros:
- safe and mild enough for the most delicate skin
- Suitable from birth, for new borns,
- Non irritant, and no tears formulae.
Cons:
- The first con is that it has a very mild fragrance. That was not what I was expecting with this medicated brand
- I felt that more product (Body Wash) was required to get some lather
- The price is another factor. All these products are expensive than other products in the market.
Final Verdict: 4.5/5
Overall a good product, It did what it is suppose to do.. a happy baby and a happy mom. Though the product cost is towards on the higher side, but for a sensitive babies it is worth it, you may try with trial packs and buy the bigger packs which are economical.

I’ve been hearing so much about Seba Med! Seems like it is definitely worth giving a try.
The price point is definitely one of the major reasons I’ve stayed away from this range.
Yes definitely price is high but for kids with sensitive skin this is a must set of products.

Sebamed products are great for kids and baby’s skin. They ar tried and trusted by many and the best part is they are mild and chemical free.
Really liked the detailed review, I was a bit confused to try Seba med even when it was recommended by few friends just because the price was on the higher side. My baby’s skin is normal so I think it’s Ok not to go for this brand but I would really recommend this brand to parents whose babies have sensitive or allergy-prone skin.

Sebamed’s products are quite good for new born. I have used these in the initial months and they suited my kid’s skin well. They are a little high on price but amazingly wonderful and effective products.
Sebamed is one of the best brands in the market right now. Although a little expensive I think it is widely trusted as a safe brand for babies
