    nice article and important point -swap out the pasta and add vegetables. we have never tried to add chickpeas or rajma etc to our pasta – will try that, that will be something different!

    This is a great recipe.. healthy option for fussy kids actually.even I don’t use cheese as i am lactose intolerant. I use a lot of veggies and call it mera wala pasta!

    thanks for these tips on making pasta healthy. Actually in foreign countries especially italy pasta is not always meant to cheesy. I include a lot of veggies and cheese is in some amount only.

    My daughter loves pasta n I use the derum wheat pasta and add lods n lods of veggies in it to make it tasty n filling.

    Good tips. I just made noodles today with loads of veggies in it. I haven’t tried suji pasta. Or spaghetti. I’ll check if it’s available in the shop downstairs.

    I always prefer try color pasta or pasta having vegetable extract and not just semolina or maida. Since you have added chhole, try grinding some chhole with the puree. it gives a thick texture and also make it filling for kids who don’t like to chhole as it is.
