Gond paintings are inspired by nature and include painting simple everyday creatures like fish, birds, cows, elephants, trees etc. The tribal art is majorly characterized by double-lined outlines, the detail added in the form of dots and dashes and the use of vivid bright colours.

Materials You Need:
- A paper plate or any paper
- Pencil, Eraser
- vibrant Paints
- Paintbrushes
- Black marker/Sketch pens
Method to draw Gond art
- Draw an outline of any animals such as peacock or birds and a tree with a pencil
- Paint different parts of their body using bright colours. use various colours to obtain different shades.
- Paint the tree branches Green
- Paint various patterns like dots and dashes on different parts of the animals and tree using different colours.
- Use a black marker to give an outline. Draw green patterns on the leaves of the tree.
- You may also add details to the painting with black lines with the marker/ fine brush.
