Book Review: Incredible India Bucket-list, an e-book by Aditya Sathe

India with its great heritage, traditions, cultures, varied flora and fauna, definitely is incredible, No doubts, it’s the most preferred tourist destinations for tourists all around the world. If one starts to count the number of masterpieces we have here, I am sure the list would not end soon. My parents loved travelling and I was born fortunate to have travelled most part of the country during my early childhood. I have travelled to all states and explored all the major wonders of the country. But still, I feel there is so much to explore in each state itself and visiting them is not possible I believe. it felt as if I might be missing out on something and somewhere down the line, I felt that it would be wonderful if there is a list that I could refer to. A list that isn’t biased basis the tour and travel business. Then I stumbled upon this wonderful book by Aditya which cover Incredible India Bucket-list, a book that no Indian or one planning to visit India should skip.

Aditya Sathe- “There is a saying in Marathi, “केल्याने देशाटन, चातुर्य येतसे फार” which means if you travel across the country, you become clever. In  case of our motherland, we are blessed with such a vast landmass and a varied culture. It is indeed very hard to cover all the places from our Incredible India. So, this book presents  a bucket list of 26 places spanning across India which include natural wonders as well as man-made masterpieces, which will not fail to impress visitors.”

Book Review: Incredible India Bucket-list

This ebook Incredible India Bucket-list covers A-Z of some popular and some less known yet very prominent place in India. While I was proud to be a travel freak knowing my country and its heritage well. It felt good to see some known places on the list this book was an eye-opener. There are definitely a lot of places which I haven’t heard of like Dharur fort or Airavatesvara Temple. I am so sure that it would have been very difficult for the author to actually zero down on just 26 places in India. Especially when there are masterpieces there in every few kilometres.

I also like the fact that the book is not only restricted to the bucket list of beautiful places to explore but also proved information about the rich history behind each place. Something no one should miss. This book is definitely going to be my handy guide for travelling within the country once the lockdown and restrictions across the country come to an end.

Who should read this book?

While I feel every Indian should read this book to know more about the less known places. But I believe it is a must for travel enthusiasts or people to love to do their research well before they travel for its due research and informative history of the place. I would highly recommend all my family and friends to at least give this e-book a read at least once sure. I truly feel the book is a keeper and can be used as a referring guide for your next travel plans.
