1. Let it snow

‘Let it Snow’ is a fun song that kids have loved. Perhaps it is one of the best versions of this song is the Sinatra version. So, why not teach your kids to sing the song from the singing legend! 2. Jingle bells

Well, who doesn’t know Jingle bells, it has long been a favourite amongst kids for ages. It is loved for its simple lyrics as well as it’s the festive tune. The nice part about this jingle is that it’s fairly simple for kids to learn, and imitate the lyrics on many different instruments as well.

The origin of this song is not known to many people. ‘Jingle bells’ was originally designed to celebrate “Thanksgiving” and it was actually titled as ‘One horse open sleigh” in  1857. This song has since spread almost everywhere and has become a popular Christmas song.

Here is the YouTube video that will help kids learn and enjoy the song:

3. Rudolph the red nose reindeer

Again, Rudolph- the red nose reindeer, is one of the favourites among kids and adults. Not only do millions of people watch- The Rudolph Christmas-special every year but they also hear the famous song to go along with it.

This song is about the tale of Rudolph, who made himself famous, by guiding Santa’s sleigh through a foggy evening to bring the beautiful toys to all of the children of the world.

‘Deck the Halls’ is also a famous Yuletide celebration song which was actually created in the 16th century. The original title of this song was- Nos Galan- which means New Year’s Eve in the Welsh language.

Although this song is technically more about New Year’s, but it has become a holiday favourite among all. Here is the link to this Bing Crosby version of the song which kids will really enjoy sing along to:

5. Santa Claus is coming to town

This song comes with an excellent message for kids and prepares them for the holiday season. This song makes sure that the kids make the nice list over Christmas for Santa. As this is a big priority for many kids.

This song explains little more about why it’s important to maintain good behaviour over the holidays. Also why Santa might bring some of the bad kids, a lump of coal.

6. Frosty the snowman

‘Frosty-the snowman’ is a holiday story about a snowman that comes to life as a result of magic. The cute Frosty has since had a holiday special created for him as well as multiple spinoff episodes which all premiere around the holidays.
