Honey Diet- for Weight Watchers
Are you the one thinking of losing some weight? or among the ones looking for a healthy diet to manage your current weight? Well, most of us would fall in these categories and have at some point in time thought of dieting to manage our weight well. While dieting tends to look like an easy shortcut. But we should never forget that crash diets could, in fact, lead to problems in the long term. For this reason, something sustainable like a Honey Diet is a better option for maintaining healthy dieting. We all know that honey is great for staying fit. Especially when it is taken with a glass of warm water with lemon. This makes Honey Diet perfect for weight management.
However, a lot of people aren’t aware that a simple breakfast of a toast along and a bowl of wheat porridge with a spoon of honey can also help to keep us in shape. Additionally, honey is a great substitute for sugar. It also helps in managing calories better, while adding healthy nutrients, in place of empty calories.
Honey or (shahad in Hindi) has always been recommended as an energy booster and medicinal remedy to keep weight in check. Honey is indeed a great way to complement a weight management regime very well. Read its organic facts here.
Why you should give Honey Diet a try
1. First thing in the Morning- Honey Diet for weight management
Most of us already know that drinking honey (in warm water with lemon) in the morning is extremely beneficial for an effective anti-cellulite treatment. It not only helps in weight management but also flushes out our toxins and make our skin radiant.
2. A perfect substitute for sugar
Sugar needs to be broken down by our body’s own enzymes before we can utilise its energy. On the other hand, Honey is already broken down, in the simplest form (Thanks to the bees’ enzymes). It also prevents extra fat, from accumulating in the body making it a great substitute for sugar.
3. Honey prevents obesity
The daily sugar we use is a refined sweetener, which has lost a lot of good properties (like organic acids, proteins etc) of sugarcane during its refining process. Hence, such sugar draws the body’s nutrients for metabolizing cholesterol and fatty acids. However, honey is very natural and is enriched with anti-oxidants and nutrients. It also contains several minerals and amino acids which helps our body’s metabolism.
4. The sugar-free substitute
Most diabetic patients tend to switch to a ‘sugar-free’ sweetener. However, most of the available artificial sweeteners have their own set of side-effects. Some of these, even increase the craving for sugar, defeating the very purpose of them. That’s why it makes a better sense to switch to a natural sweetener. Though diabetics must check with their doctors and consume it in restricted portions.
